About Hikers Electronics.com

We started our Hikers Electronics.com blog for two reasons;
1.)  As a way to share our hiking/trekking experiences with other like-minded people with the hope that they will also share their experiences with us.
2.)  To draw people’s attention to our online store Hikers Electronics.com, a website for today’s hi-tech hiker, because we have personally used many of the items offered in our store and they have made our hikes much more rewarding in many ways.

Through the use of hi-tech tools for hiking we have gained a lot of knowledge and experience on what works and makes sense, what doesn’t, and how to use the stuff to your best advantage.  So we try to impart some of that knowledge to our fellow hikers through our website, through our blog, and in many other ways.

A little bit about us:  We have done several memorable hikes/treks over the past several years including the infamous Kalalau Trail in Kauai several times and experiencing the magical feeling that occurs after you’ve been there for a few days, trekking for 8 days in the hilltribe country of Northern Vietnam with the highlight being a climb to Mt. Fansipan’s 10,312 ft. summit, a 3 day trek to Havasu Falls in the Grand Canyon, several enjoyable hikes in Zion National Park, and we are in the planning stages of a 16 day trek through Nepal’s Himalayas.
